AGRIGENTO – Agrigento football is getting back on track. After weeks of waiting and silence, something is finally moving. Atletico Agrigento, founded by Lillo and Alessio Capraro , looks to the future with pragmatism: a long-term project that aims to enhance the youth of the province and restore dignity to local football starting from the grassroots. Leading it will be Michele Fodale , Italian agent of a foreign multinational, now determined to invest time and resources in his city: " We will start from the category that the League will assign to us - he says - but it is not just about football. It is a question of respect for the people, the fans, the city. We want to restore pride to Agrigento ".

But the most anticipated news by the fans concerns the return of Akragas , which will not remain just a memory . Among the protagonists of the new project there will be the lawyer Giancarlo Rosato , who has left Nissa to return to take care of the team of his city. The new white and blue course could also count on a technical guide already identified: according to sources close to the consortium, the chosen coach would be Giovanni Campanella , a well-known and esteemed name in the amateur field.
