Ruvo di Puglia, June 8, 2025 – Herons Basket Montecatini loses game 1 of the Serie B final for A2. The challenge against the Apulians opens and the first match goes to the latter, after a challenge in which Musso and his teammates manage to control. For the Herons 22 points for Kupstas and 15 for Arrigoni. First quarter on the edge of balance, with Montecatini actually managing to lead at times. In the second quarter, with a 4-0 partial, Ruvo tries to escape without succeeding, also thanks to a good Arrigoni. We go to halftime with the score at 39-38 for the home team.
Halfway through the third quarter Ruvo tries to escape, reaching 59-49 thanks also to the rebounds and points of Borra . It is an important gap because from then on the Herons must chase. Without ever losing contact completely, but using great physical and nervous energy. The last five minutes are a battle but the Herons struggle to get back (with Borra who scores the two points for 81-69). From here the Apulians control and take home game-1. Tuesday at 9 pm there is game-2.
