Castrum Favara is saved and remains in Serie D. Licata is relegated to Eccellenza. At the Giovanni Bruccoleri municipal stadium, in fact, the home team had two results out of three to save the category while Licata was forced to win. Castrum Favara closed the championship with 30 points, while Licata with 28 points. The team from Favara won with the final result of 2-0. The goals, all in the second half, by Gabriele Bontà in the 65th minute with a header, and by Sandro Baglione in the 71st minute with a half-overhead kick.

A few minutes before kick-off, skirmishes broke out between the two sets of fans inside the stadium. The first half was fairly balanced. The biggest chance fell to Favara's La Piana, who hit the crossbar in the 13th minute from outside the area.

In the second half, Mister Infantino's men accelerated and found the one-two signed by Bontà-Baglione. In the 75th minute, an unfortunate episode: the visiting fans tore out some cables connected to the home goal directly from the curve. The match was suspended fifteen minutes from the end, with the score at 2-0 for Favara, due to the disturbances of a small group of Licata ultras. The match then resumed as soon as the situation returned to normal. At the final whistle, the celebrations of the Favara fans exploded.
