Circolo Arci Bugiani Walking Trail, photos and rankings

Pistoia 25 May 2025 – On a splendid sunny day, the Scarpinata Podistica Circolo Arci Bugiani running race was held in the Bugiani district of Pistoia over a distance of 14.500 kilometres and organised by the local club with the collaboration of the Silvano Fedi Pistoia company and under the aegis of the Uisp judges' group.

The race was won by the representative of Atletica Calenzano Emanuel Ghergut in 49'40'', followed by Alain Filoni (Atletica Castello Firenze) in 1'52'', Lorenzo Caponetti (Firenze Social Runners) in third place with a gap of 2'35'', Fabio Marinelli (Podistica Medicea Poggio a Caiano) in fourth place, and Mirko Tondini (Silvano Fedi Pistoia) in fifth place.

The ranking

In the veterans category, first place goes to Francesco Giuntoli (Gruppo Sportivo Run...dagi) with a time of 57'28'', followed in order by Fabrizio Migliori (Podistica Medicea Poggio a Caiano) and Onorio Zacchi (Le Panche Castelquarto). Giuliano Burchi (La Stanca Valenzatico) wins the veterans silver category running 59'38'', second place goes to Francesco Bozzi (Sempre di Corsa) and third is the teammate of the first place Tiziano Andaloro. Fabrizio Soldi (Silvano Fedi Pistoia) is the best in the veterans gold category finishing the race in 1h09'27'', followed by his teammate Domenico Coco and Roberto Isola (Golfo dei Poeti La Spezia).

In the women's absolute category, a double for Silvano Fedi Pistoia with first place for Elena Cerfeda who achieved a time of 1h04'17 over the distance, preceding her teammate Margherita Paccavia, with Katiuscia Lanciotti (Montelupo Runners) in third.

Lucca's Flavia Cristianini (Gruppo Podistico Parco Alpi Apuane) who finished in 1h10'17'' is first among the veterans, second place goes to Claudia Giovannozzi (Club Sportivo Firenze) and third to Camelia Barboi (Apd Isolotto Firenze). In the veteran women's category, silver is Antonietta Schettino who wins the category in 1h12'11'' followed in order by Patrizia Franchi (Cai Pistoia) and third to Rosanna Padoan (Toscana Atletica Jolly).
