Corsa Storica di Frati, the photos of the ninth edition

Camaiore (Lucca), May 11, 2025 – The 9th edition of the Corsa Storica di Frati took place a few steps from the historic center of Camaiore, also valid as the Memorial Angelo di Lello Priamo Bonuccelli and Roberto Pellegrinotti, and the Trofeo della Montagna Carlo Pardocchi. The organization was handled by the Rione Frati and Atletica Camaiore, with the patronage of the Municipality of Camaiore.

The race, over 12 km long, passed through some of the most suggestive locations in the area: starting and finishing at the historic Chiesa dei Frati, then passing through the historic center, then the hamlets of Vado and Mombello. After a series of challenging climbs, the athletes reached Santa Lucia, and then returned passing through Varricella and Torrone. There were approximately 100 participants in total. The winner among the men was Jacopo Fontanini of Atletica Camaiore, while among the women the success went to Nina Gulino of Atletica Castello. The non-competitive 7 km walk was also very popular, involving numerous enthusiasts and families. The awards ceremony was attended by the authorities of the Municipality of Camaiore, including Councilor Luca Cecchi and Councilors Mara Antongiovanni, a former excellent runner, and Gloria D'Alessandro.
