Eaglets in flight: Barano shines between playoffs and cup

Eaglets in flight: Barano shines between playoffs and cup

An emotional weekend has ignited enthusiasm in the Barano home, where the youth teams have given life to high-level performances, showing grit, technique and team spirit. The protagonists on the field are the Under 12, Under 14 regional and Under 15 elite teams, all engaged in important competitions.

The Under 12, 2013 category, took part in the Ischia Cup, demonstrating great determination and competitive spirit. The group, constantly growing, stood out for their commitment and desire to fight until the last minute of every match. An in-depth analysis of their journey will be published soon, to give due credit to a group that continues to surprise.

Moving on to the regional Under 14 team coached by mister Daniele D'Abundo, the spotlight was on the first leg of the Silver playoffs, played against Di Roberto, a team that finished the regular season in first place. The match, played on Sunday morning, provided spectacle and intensity. After a first half played at a high pace, with numerous opportunities for the black and whites, it was an own goal that gave the opponents the lead. Despite this, the young eagles were able to react with character, overturning the score and closing the first half at 2 to 1.

In the second half, the quality of the game expressed remained high, but the direction of the match raised more than one doubt. Two dubious episodes influenced the progress: an obvious penalty denied to the Bianconeri and one generously awarded to the guests brought the match back to parity. The hosts managed to take the lead again, but a further penalty awarded to the guests set the score at 3-3. Beyond the refereeing controversies, it is worth underlining the fairness of the match and the quality expressed by both teams, in view of the return match that promises to be hard-fought.

The Under 15 elite, led by mister Marco Pinto, closed their last home game in the Coppa Campania with a performance to frame. The clear 6-0 victory against Belsito was the reflection of a team aware of its strength, capable of playing high-level football, with personality and determination. This group continues to grow, impressing with its seriousness and consistency in training.

For the qualification to the final stages, the goal difference will be decisive, given that the Bianconeri will observe a rest day on the last day of the group. In short, a weekend that left its mark, not only for the results, but above all for the quality of the game expressed, the sportsmanship and the growth path that the young promises of Barano are facing with passion and determination.
