Federvolley, the numbers add up: new funds for young people

Accounts under the net. The Federal Council of the Volleyball Federation has approved the 2024 financial statement, which shows an operating profit of over 2 million 500 thousand euros. The meeting of the highest body of the Volleyball Federation was held in Alberobello, Puglia, on the occasion of the fortieth edition of the Trofeo delle Regioni. The federal budget, balanced from an economic, financial and patrimonial point of view, was approved after having acquired the favorable opinion of the board of auditors and was prepared according to the schemes provided by Coni, Cip and certified by the auditing company EY Spa

Funds for youth activity Fipav, thanks to the excellent economic result obtained, has decided to allocate the significant sum of 1,600,000 euros in favor of the development of youth activity. The 2021-2023 Sustainability Report was also presented, a document that allows the Italian Volleyball Federation to continue to report, in a clear and transparent manner, the performances achieved from a sporting and economic-social point of view, in order to strengthen its identity. A digital dashboard is also planned that will allow all users to obtain the data of their interest. In the coming weeks, the 2021-2023 Sustainability Report will be available online in the specific section of the federal website at https://www.federvolley.it/bilancio-sociale . The members of the Audit for the verifications on the balance sheets of the peripheral Fipav bodies have also been appointed.

The contribution of volunteers The Council has regulated the activity of volunteers, so as to be able to recognize them a lump sum reimbursement on the occasion of demonstrations and events specified by Fipav. Each volunteer will be able to receive compensation for their valuable support. The following have been appointed for the Olympic four-year period 2025-2028: the Federal Prosecutor, the National Sports Judge and the substitute judges, the members of the Federal Prosecutor's Office, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Sports Court of Appeal and the Athlete Registration Commission.

The Club Italia in Cichello

The technical project and the related budget of the women's Club Italia, engaged in the next season in the Serie A2 Championship, have been approved. On the indication of the technical director Julio Velasco, the first coach will be Juan Manuel Cichello, while the second will be Monica Cresta. The organization of the 19th edition of the Aequilibrium-Cup Trofeo delle Regioni 2025 of beach volleyball, instead, has been entrusted to the Calabria Regional Committee. The event will take place in Locri (Reggio Calabria) from 15 to 18 July 2025. Guido Pasciari has been appointed as the contact person for the territorial activity of Sitting Volley for the four-year period 2025-2028. The launch of the Media Factory project for the 2025 season has also been approved, thanks to which the most important international events, in which the Italian national teams will be involved, will be followed by the media in a more complete manner with the addition of new content that can be declined on the various federal social networks.

Referees and merchandising Giuseppe De Mola has been appointed National Manager of the Match Officials Sector. President Giuseppe Manfredi wanted to thank Luigi Roccatto for what he has done in recent years. Thanks to his work and his professionalism, the refereeing sector has achieved important results, confirming itself not only as one of the flagships of Fipav, but as an excellence of the volleyball movement at an international level. The Council approved the approach for the development model of the management training and the Fipav study center. The last resolution was the one relating to the creation of an official merchandising line of the Italian Volleyball Federation, including the design and management of a digital store, dedicated to the sale of material and all related actions.
