Free Time - "Reviviscenze Musicali": eight concerts in six municipalities for the sixth edition of the festival - - Varese News

Great music returns to the villages of the province of Varese with the sixth edition of "Reviviscenze Musicali," the festival organized by ARTandCHARITY ODV in collaboration with the Jupiter Foundation. Eight events from September to December 2025 will take place in six municipalities—Bodio Lomnago, Albizzate, Daverio, Cazzago Brabbia, Galliate Lombardo, and Brunello—with high-quality concerts in locations of particular historical and architectural significance.
From opera to world music, from baroque to romantic, the festival offers a diverse program that blends tradition and modernity. Each evening, free admission, will also be an opportunity to support the "Dopo di Noi" project, aimed at young adults with disabilities and promoted in collaboration with Magari Domani Società Cooperativa Sociale Onlus of Gazzada Schianno.
A rich and varied programme
The program kicks off on Saturday, September 13th in Bodio Lomnago with Edoardo Manzardo (tenor) and Luana Carfora (piano), who will perform "Songs of the Heart" in the Church of Santa Maria Nascente. This is followed, on September 27th in Albizzate, by a journey into world music with the Viarmonica duo, consisting of G. Zolli (violin) and A. Grosso (accordion).
In October, guests will hear the strings of the Insubria Chamber Orchestra conducted by Giorgio Rodolfo Marini (October 11 in Daverio), and the harp music of Floraleda Sacchi (October 25 in Bodio Lomnago). November will feature the voice of Nausicaa Nisati and the piano of Andrea Bacchetti (November 8 in Cazzago Brabbia), and the virtuosity of a guitar trio made up of Marcello Serafini, Paolo De Stefano, and Gianluca Fortino (November 22 in Galliate Lombardo).
On December 7th in Brunello, Carlo Levi Minzi will give a piano recital, while the grand finale will be entrusted to the “Canto delle Pietre” choir, directed by Nausicaa Nisati, with a medieval repertoire taken from the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat (December 20th in Daverio).
Music and solidarity
All concerts will be free to attend, with the possibility of contributing through free donations to support the project “Dopo di Noi – Servizio di Formazione alle Autonomie”, an educational program dedicated to young people between the ages of 16 and 35 to encourage them to build an independent adult life.
The initiative is sponsored by the participating municipalities, the Province of Varese, and the Lombardy Region's Department of Culture. Support also comes from the companies that have joined the "Azienda Amica" program, contributing to the initiative's success.
