Golf: Le Pavoniere's "Platinum Race" a resounding success: the winners

Prato, August 24, 2025 – Le Pavoniere Golf & Country Club recently hosted the "Platinum Race" golf tournament, which saw golfers from all over Tuscany compete in Prato. The awards ceremony took place a few days ago: in the "first category," Vittorio Giannelli of Circolo del Golf dell'Ugolino was awarded first place "gross," while Danilo Nencini placed first "net," ahead of his clubmate Mattia Donati. In the "second category," Matteo Bettacchi of Golf Club Livorno took first place, ahead of Andrea Paganelli of Golf Club Quarrata. In the "third category," Luciano Zhou Haotong of Le Pavoniere took first place, ahead of Hur Ji Young of Firenze Ugolino. Rossella Carli and Gennardo Berardono (both of Le Pavoniere) triumphed in the "Ladies" and "Seniors" categories, respectively. Honorable mention goes to Michelina Maila Cassese, who won the "Nearest to the pin, hole 17" award. After hosting Europe's first "park golf" event in recent weeks (a simplified version of golf designed to be played in parks or specially designed green spaces, whether at clubs or public parks, hotels, or campsites), the Prato club is continuing its activities at full speed.
