Here's when Jannik will play against Kopriva | The schedule: The Italians on the pitch today

We're almost there. Jannik Sinner 's debut at the US Open is just hours away. The world number one, in the first round of the final Grand Slam of the season, will face Czech Vit Kopriva , number 87 in the ATP rankings . The first matches are spread over three days: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. To allow Jannik to fully recover after withdrawing from the Cincinnati final , the tournament organizers have decided to schedule the defending champion's first match on Tuesday: the match between the South Tyrolean and Kopriva will be the second in the morning program, following the women's draw match between Arango and Swiatek . The two tennis players will begin play at 5:30 pm Italian time (11:30 am New York time), followed by Sinner's match.

Where to watch the US Open on TV

The US Open will be broadcast on Sky.
