Prato, May 25, 2025 – With the latest success obtained in the semifinal against the fellow Bassano team by 5-3, Hockey Trissino has qualified for the Scudetto finals, during which it will face Lodi. And Stefano Zampoli will thus be able to continue chasing the dream of winning the third Italian title. The goalkeeper from Prato was in fact also on the ice in the last match and has always given his contribution as a starter throughout the season. If the Veneto club closed the “regular season” of the 2024/25 Serie A1 roller hockey in first place in the standings with 69 points (9 points ahead of second-placed Forte dei Marmi), the credit also goes to the player born in 1999 who grew up sportingly speaking in Maliseti.
A few months ago he had won the Coppa Italia again against Lodi, for the first success of the season. Winning is almost an obligation in those parts: with his arrival in Veneto, in 2021, Stefano has added solidity to an already competitive team, capable in these almost four years of winning two Scudetti, a Champions League, an Intercontinental Cup, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiani. To the point that the second place of last year in the championship, with the tricolor hat-trick vanished in the last act against Forte dei Marmi, was seen as a "mistake" not to be repeated. And with the exit from the Champions League, the ex-HP Maliseti dreams of the Coppa Italia - Scudetto double: the first of the five matches that will award the tricolor will be held on June 1st.
