According to Adnkronos , Icardi has instructed his Italian lawyers Raffaele Rigitano, Valeria De Vellis and Salvatore Pino to initiate "all necessary actions" to criminally prosecute what he defines as serious revenge porn conduct of which he claims to have been the victim by his ex-wife Wanda Nara.

The Galatasaray player learned "with shock" that an intimate video of him, shared privately and exclusively with his wife at the time of their marriage, had been released online "with the aim of defaming" him and damaging his relationship with his current partner Eugenia Suarez .
