It's official: Delio Rossi returns to the Foggia bench. The Apulian Serie C club announced the news: the 65-year-old coach has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend. Rossi, a former midfielder born in Rimini in 1960, began his career at Forlimpopoli, and played for Foggia from 1981 to 1987. In the 1991-1993 seasons, he coached the club's youth team, and then in 1995-1996, he took over the first team after a two-year stint at Salernitana. A Coppa Italia winner with Lazio, he has managed other clubs such as Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Palermo, and Bologna. He was already called up by Foggia in March 2023, returning to coach the Apulian club after a distance of almost 30 years.
