Among all the performances, the result of Paolo Porta (Mgc Novi Ligure) stands out, who in addition to winning the title of Italian absolute champion, equalled the world record
The Italian Individual and Team Minigolf Championships ended successfully in Cavriglia, in the province of Arezzo, a prominent event that attracted the best athletes on the national scene. The competitions were held at the facility in via del Campo, in the San Cipriano area, where participants challenged each other to win the prestigious Italian titles.
The event, organized by Figest Federazione Italiana Giochi e Sport Tradizionali in collaboration with Minigolf Italia and Minigolf Valdarno and with the patronage of the Municipality of Cavriglia and Coni, offered four intense days of competitions of the highest technical level. The impeccable condition of the field allowed players to express their skills to the fullest, with incredible results and averages.
In the team competition, the Italian women's title went to the Minigolf Club of Cusano Milanino, which earned the right to participate in the Minigolf Champions League Final 2026. The Minigolf Club Follonica came in second.
As for the men's teams, MGC Novi Ligure was crowned Italian Champion 2025, also guaranteeing its participation in the Minigolf Champions League 2026. In second place was Gsp Vergiate and in third place was Minigolf Club Cusano Milanino, a testament to a high general technical level.
The individual competitions, however, saw the awarding of prestigious titles: for the Female category 1st place: Anna Bandera (Minigolf Club Cusano), 2nd place Paola Tecchio (Minigolf Club Follonica), 3rd place Silvia Bandera (Minigolf Club Cusano).
In the Men's category, 1st place: Paolo Porta (MGC Novi Ligure), 2nd place Cristian Pinton (Minigolf Club Cusano) and 3rd place Emanuele Prestinari (MGC Novi Ligure).
In the Under 23 category, the top step of the podium went to Valerio Marcoaldi (Gsp Vergiate), second place went to Marco Broggi (MGC Mainz) and third to Ryan Giroldini (Gsp Vergiate).
Among all the performances, the result of Paolo Porta (MGC Novi Ligure) stands out, who, in addition to winning the title of Italian overall champion, equalled the world record on 2 18-hole courses (36 strokes) and the world record on 4 18-hole courses (73 strokes), an exceptional performance that underlines the very high level of the competition.
Finally, the Italian Match Play Championships which saw the assignment of the Italian titles on the last day of competition.
In the Women's Match Play 1st place: Silvia Bandera (Minigolf Club Cusano), 2nd place Tiziana Chiaravalli (Mgc Novi Ligure), 3rd place Anna Bandera (Minigolf Club Cusano).
In the Men's Match Play, 1st place was Omar Sessa (Mgc Novi Ligure), 2nd place was Duccio Cheli (Minigolf Club Follonica) and 3rd place was Roberto Garbui (Gsp Vergiate).
