Reports in Italy claim that Roma are looking to sign Brazilian full-back Wesley from Flamengo, but that the Giallorossi are seeking assistance from Everton, who share the same owners, the Friedkin Group.
Roma and Everton team up for Wesley signingAccording to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio , Gian Piero Gasperini's side are hoping to seal a deal for 21-year-old Flamengo right-back Wesley, who has also been linked with a move to Juventus and a number of clubs in LaLiga this summer.
Wednesday's update, however, claims that Roma and Everton are working together on a potential deal for Wesley.

According to Di Marzio's report, the plan is for Everton to purchase Wesley outright and then send him on an immediate loan to Roma for the 2025-26 season.
As of December, Roma and Everton are under the same ownership. The Friedkin family, who acquired the Giallorossi in 2020, announced their intended takeover of Everton in September 2024, and formally completed the deal in December.
