Four days of exciting challenges for national titles under the aegis of the Italian Federation of Traditional Games and Sports
Italian minigolf is preparing to experience its most prestigious event: the Italian individual and team championships, which will be held in Cavriglia, in the province of Arezzo, from tomorrow (Thursday 5th) to Sunday 8th June.
The event, organized by the Figest Italian Federation of Traditional Games and Sports in collaboration with Minigolf Italia and Minigolf Valdarno, with the patronage of the Municipality of Cavriglia and Coni, will see the best athletes on the national scene compete for the conquest of the tricolor titles.
The venue of the event will be the facility in via del Campo, in the San Cipriano area, a route that promises to test the technique and nerves of the participants.
The actual competition will be preceded today (Wednesday 4 June) by official training until 5pm when a ceremony has been organised to officially start these days of sport and healthy competition.
The competition program will unfold over four intense days: Thursday 5 June is the first day dedicated to the team competition, starting at 8 am, Friday 6 June will see the team competition conclude with the final, starting at 8 am. Then on Saturday 7 June it will be time for the individual strokeplay competition, with the third day and the final starting at 8 am, and finally on Sunday 8 June the event will conclude with the fourth day and the final of the individual matchplay competition, starting at 8:30 am, which will decree the absolute Italian Champion.
The Italian Absolute Minigolf Championships are an event that not only promotes the sport of minigolf but also offers an important opportunity to enhance our territory and its beauties. Minigolf, a discipline that combines precision, strategy and concentration, is gaining more and more popularity in Italy, also thanks to the commitment of local sports associations.
