Sarzana (La Spezia), July 20, 2025 – Despite the race being held at the same time as another nearby event, the third edition of the "Up and Down the Hills of Nave" running race, organized by SSD Calcio Nave and the Black Out and Yellow group, under the patronage of the Municipality of Sarzana, under the aegis of ENDAS, and with the collaboration of ASD Castelnuovo Magra, saw good participation, despite the race being held at the same time.

The competitive 9km race began at the Circolo di Nave and wound through the picturesque hills of the Nave and Sarzanello neighborhoods, following a route that was almost entirely paved, with the exception of a slightly uphill dirt section of about 500 meters, which gave the competition a "trail" feel. For walkers, a shorter route of around 5km was planned, designed for recreational and physical activity. One of the organizers' most significant achievements since the first edition has been their commitment to the redevelopment of an abandoned trail, which is cleaned, maintained, and made fully accessible every year for the event: a gesture of care for the area that enhances the sporting value of the event.

One of the two refreshment points was located in Sarzanello, where participants could refresh themselves along the route. Numerous prizes were awarded: in addition to the overall podiums, with awards for the top three men and top three women, 54 prizes were awarded across nine categories.
