Florence, July 14, 2025 - Stefano Pioli 's bright eyes clearly testify to the emotion of an evening in which Fiorentina presented its teams to the Viola fans. And so, first the Primavera youth team marched into the 'Curva Fiesole' at Viola Park, followed by the women's first team led by new coach Pinones Arce , and finally the men's first team. An event that lasted less than an hour but was packed with significant moments. Thousands of spectators rose to their feet when Fiorentina, led by Luca Ranieri and Rolando Mandragora , took to the pitch, the senior leaders of the group, even though a variety of experienced and charismatic players also appeared along the way. From Gosens to De Gea, passing through Dzeko, Dodo, and the much-applauded Kean.

Then, as mentioned, the coach was called, and the " Pioli is on fire" slogan that made him famous in Milan's Scudetto year was echoed in the stands. The hope is that it will be a recurring theme throughout the season. "I'm very happy to be here. I thank the club for coming together and calling me. Florence means a lot to me. We're all together trying to give our best, to give ourselves and you the best possible satisfaction. We're very motivated. The excitement is there now, but that's the beautiful thing about our profession. I coach to try to excite and be excited, and I know that here at Fiorentina I can do that."

Among the players, the first to speak was captain Ranieri . "We couldn't wait to get started again, we already gave it our all today. But that's okay, you have to work hard and sweat every day." Significant words from Rolando Mandragora, who certainly doesn't sound like someone about to leave. On the contrary: "I'm happy to see you all back with such enthusiasm. The wedding went well, now I'm entering a new phase of my life. What kind of season will it be? We'll definitely be working to achieve some goals we've set ourselves. We have to work hard and we'll try to double the enthusiasm we saw tonight, hoping something important can happen."

Then Robin Gosens spoke. "I felt at home here from the first second, and the family feels the same. The holidays went well, I switched off, and now I'm more eager and hungry than before. I'm back to Edin very well. As soon as I read the first news, I sent him a message telling him he absolutely had to come here. I'm happy because I've found a great friend, but above all, a great player, someone who makes the difference." Speaking of Dzeko , the Bosnian also greeted the fans. "Good evening everyone, it's great to see so many of you. The first few hours were great, I got to know the staff and the guys. I'm happy to be back in Italy, to a great club and a beautiful city like Florence."

Moise Kean 's words were also long-awaited and significant, on the penultimate day of his famous release clause. "I'm motivated to move forward. Fiorentina has always given me a hand, now it's good to return with renewed motivation and always give my best." Dodo echoed his sentiments. "I came back feeling energized after the vacation paid for by Moise (joking, ed.). I'm happy to have reunited with so many friends, now we have to have a great season." An emotional De Gea closed the round of opinions. "I'm very ready. I felt good during training today. I think that all together, us and you, will have a great season."

Finally, a surprise, with CEO Ferrari placing a microphone under his phone to let Rocco Commisso 's voice be heard from New York. "I want to thank everyone, including the new arrivals. We're happy that Coach Pioli has decided to come to Fiorentina, and I'm pleased with the new coach of the Women's team. I hope this will be the best year of my tenure. I thank everyone at Viola Park and those watching at home. Thank you all, and I'll see you in September." There was chanting and applause from everyone, with the evening concluding with a flurry of ball-throwing from the players into the stands.
