América players acknowledge that Chanfle taught them their training routine.

Coapa de los Tirones.- After a video of Club América's training went viral, the players have confirmed that they were simply following a routine that "El Chanfle" once left them.

The clip, which is already circulating at meme speed on social media and has even been shown in gyms as an example of how not to warm up , has been defended by the Azulcremas, who claim that "this is how Chespirito warmed up."

“It warms up faster this way,” said Jonathan Dos Santos, one of the soccer players featured in the video, performing moves that combine cardio, tribal dance, and desperation.

Club América always a pioneer

In addition to vigorous exercises, the footage shows several players performing calf movements with unusual haste, confirming that the players are elite athletes who train like they're sketch actors from the 1970s.

Although many users have tried to find the original video where Chanfle himself performs intense stretches, América players insist that their method is inspired by that sports-comedy legacy.

"It was the routine he did when he was going to enter the stage dressed as Chapulín Colorado," confirmed the team's medical team, while examining a sprained ankle.

If they get awarded a penalty in the opening minutes of their next match (because tradition is tradition) and they manage to pull off a victory, other clubs could start emulating this warm-up routine. After all, if it worked in a comedy, why not in Mexican soccer?

And just to be up to date:“Racist Lady” was thrown water as she was leaving the courthouse.
