Cartographers propose that Lake Texcoco be considered the new Atlantis.

Cartographers propose that Lake Texcoco be considered the new Atlantis.

Atlantis debunked.- Cartographers around the world are considering declaring Lake Texcoco the new lost continent: Atlantis, after the sighting of a semi-submerged airport that, according to experts in fictional history, may have been built during the Jurassic period of Early Neoliberalism.

The proposal was submitted to the World Society for Unnecessary Maps after observing the emergence of a continental shelf that appeared as an alluvium in the middle of the aquifer, the ancestral home of manatees, axolotls, dodos, and, of course, the Loch Ness Monster in Texcoco.

Texcoco may be named the new Atlantis

Tlantis was an advanced civilization that disappeared underwater; the NAIMess airport was also a promising advanced civilization… and it sank,” explained Gloria Laguna, an archaeologist and Wikipedia enthusiast.

The underwater formation in Texcoco meets all the criteria established by mythology and political cartography:

  • It is underwater (according to 240p images).

  • It has maps, renders and models that no one has stepped on (or swum in).

  • There is fauna that was thought to be extinct.

  • It produces nostalgia and 40-minute debates between guys after dinner.

I saw Moby Dick jump into the middle of the lake,” said a supporter of the 4T with deep affection for endangered species (and for canceled works).

Meanwhile, Netflix is already in negotiations to produce a documentary series titled "Texcoco: The City Submerged Between Renders and Resentments," narrated by Damián Alcázar and featuring dramatizations of what the place was like when Moctezuma bathed there seven times a day.

And in case you missed it: Nodal denied Angela Aguila's claim that he has never cooked for her.
