Celebrating the girls and boys of Cancun's Superblock 249

Mayor Ana Paty Peralta led the event "Giving Smiles for Girls' and Boys' Day," held in the Cielo Nuevo neighborhood of Superblock 249. Hundreds of toys were distributed to children, who are the driving force that inspires us to be better.

“With all our affection and love, we bring these toys to all our girls and boys in Cielo Nuevo. On Girls' and Boys' Day, a day where we remember the importance of childhood, of educating our girls and boys, of making them happy, safe, and strong,” the Mayor said from the neighborhood park.

She commented that each toy car, doll, and ball the children received is not only a gift to pamper them, but also a reminder of their commitment to working every day for the well-being of Cancun's children and building a municipality full of opportunities, hope, and possible dreams.

The Municipal Authority announced that the new park in Cielo Nuevo is about to open. It is designed specifically for the children of the community. Therefore, she asked parents to be aware of the recreational spaces and take care of them. She also wished the children immense happiness and hope that they will achieve their dreams.

The children enjoyed the activities and even danced to various children's songs with Ana Paty Peralta, who prioritizes the children of Cancun.

It's important to highlight that, thanks to the "Donate a Toy, so that this Children's Day we can give a smile" campaign, promoted by the Citizen Services Department in coordination with Social Management, the employees of the Benito Juárez City Council poured their hearts into this crusade for children in vulnerable situations.
