Dean and Dan Caten: fashion icons

Born in Canada, made in Italy. Brothers Dean and Dan Caten presented their 30th anniversary collection at Milan Fashion Week yesterday, with the likes of Naomi Campbell and the young singer Doechii on display, and Brigitte Nielsen dressed as a policewoman escorting them down the catwalk.
Quilted coats, big fluffy hats, corsets made with thick belts or combined with short denim shorts were shown in a setting reminiscent of the streets of New York.
Jeweled denim pants, baggy trousers and three impeccable suits with models painted like KISS also caught the eye.

How was the big night?
The brothers celebrated with a vibrant show at Milan Fashion Week. The event featured A-listers such as Naomi Campbell, who closed the show in a striking biker-style leather bodysuit, and rapper Doechii, who opened the catwalk by emerging from an armoured vehicle filled with cash.
The show, set in a setting reminiscent of a New York nightclub, featured a collection that fused the designers’ Canadian roots with Italian craftsmanship. The offerings included puffer coats, oversized furry hats, corsets with thick belts and denim shorts, all in a setting reminiscent of the streets of New York. Other highlights included bejeweled denim pants, loose-fitting garments and impeccable suits, some with models wearing KISS-style makeup.
The collection also incorporated collaborations with brands such as Magliano, Vaquera, Better, Ducati and KISS, offering everything from T-shirts to sparkly underwear. A highlight was the appearance of Brigitte Nielsen dressed as a police officer, who humorously escorted the Caten brothers in handcuffs at the end of the show.
The show concluded with a celebration that included performances by Doechii and JT, cementing the event as one of the most memorable presentations of Milan Fashion Week.
