F1 Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying 2025 LIVE: Where and when to watch qualifying TODAY?

F1 Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying 2025 LIVE: Where and when to watch qualifying TODAY?

As fast as Oscar Piastri (McLaren) at the Belgian GP , another Formula 1 weekend has arrived with the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix , the fourteenth round on the calendar.

It's a GP of high expectations, thanks to the rumor that Cadillac, the new Formula 1 team, will make an announcement after Hungary; although some expect confirmation of Mexican Sergio "Checo" Pérez as the team's driver, nothing is certain.

At least there are other certainties: Max Verstappen confirmed that he will stay at Red Bull in 2026: “Some people just like to cause a stir, others just like to create drama, but for me it’s always been pretty clear , and also for next year,” he said at a press conference.

McLaren arrives at the Hungaroring with a crushing dominance in the constructors' championship with 516 points, followed far behind by Ferrari (248 points) and Mercedes (220).

2025 Hungarian Grand Prix schedule in Mexico: What time is F1 qualifying TODAY?

Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix is this Saturday, August 2, at 8:00 a.m. (Central Time) on the Hungaroring circuit, located just outside Budapest. The circuit is 4.381 kilometers long, has 14 corners, and only one DRS zone.

This track is known for its narrowness and difficulty for overtaking. Furthermore, the summer heat in August can increase tire wear, posing a strategic challenge for the teams.

Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) is the driver who has completed the fastest lap around the Hungaroring: he broke the record with a time of 1:16.627 in 2020.
