House catches fire in Ramos Arizpe

It is believed that the fire may have been started by a young man who consumed toxic substances.

A fire broke out Friday afternoon at a home in the Guanajuato de Arriba neighborhood mobilized emergency services and municipal authorities. Around noon, residents of the area alerted the 911 emergency number about a fire at the address 934 Sabino Saucedo Street.

Firefighters responded to the scene to extinguish the blaze, which damaged clothing, a bed, several pieces of wooden furniture , and part of the building's structure.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Municipal Police personnel interviewed the owner of the home, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Martínez, who stated that the fire may have been started by his nephew due to the consumption of toxic substances.
