I don't know, Rick: Yahritza and her Essence claim that "what happens to migrants hurts them."

I don't know, Rick: Yahritza and her Essence claim that "what happens to migrants hurts them."

Washington without the crap.- The members of Yahritza y su Esencia declared that “what's happening in the United States with migrants hurts them,” and yes, it sounds pretty believable… sort of.

Taking advantage of the current situation in the United States with the immigration raids, the beloved group from Wachintón published a message of support for their fellow countrymen.

“It pains us greatly to see everything our migrant community is suffering during these uncertain times,” reads the statement, which was posted on all of the group's social media channels, sandwiched between a recipe for bacon pancakes and a video of them drinking plain water.

This is not just any release. It's our official theme. 🎶

“What Can I Lose” is a song written and produced by @edgarbarrera (yes, the GRAMMY winner) along with Yahritza and Su Esencia, and it represents everything we are: 💭 Dreams, roots and strength.

Yahritza is deeply pained by what is happening.

Likewise, the members of the "everything-eating" group expressed their "full support for all the affected families," a message that generated a variety of reactions in the comments section, from heart emojis to mentions of Tapatío sauces.

"We feel so helpless seeing the fear our loved ones feel, as well as so many other migrant brothers and sisters," they added, without detailing what the daily menu would be or whether they asked for the salsa on the side this time.

At one point in the empathetic post, Yahritza and her siblings recalled that their parents are originally from Michoacán, and mentioned that they “immigrated to this country (the United States) making many sacrifices so we could have a better life. Thanks to those sacrifices, we are here.”

It is currently unknown whether the band will ever perform again in Mexico, after their last tour didn't fare so well, struggling with spicy food, tacos without ketchup, and a national cuisine that doesn't tempt the hearts of even the most sensitive stomachs.

And in case you missed it: they stole an América player's Cybertruck that he had parked on the sidewalk.
