Israel has killed more than 200 people in Iran since its attacks on Friday, according to an NGO.

Israel's attacks on Iran have left at least 215 dead and 648 injured, most of them civilians, the NGO Human Rights Activists in Iran reported Sunday.

The U.S.-based organization reported that at least 51 of the dead and 31 of the wounded were military personnel, although it noted that it is currently unknown whether most of the victims were civilians or military personnel.

At least 10 of the fatalities were scientists and personnel at nuclear power facilities, and three were senior Iranian military officers, he noted.

The attacks since last Friday have affected 18 Iranian provinces, with F-35 fighter jets, ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones, some of them small "suicide" drones, among other weapons, according to a report by the NGO.

The organization urged respect for international humanitarian law so that civilians are not targeted in the attacks, noting that some of them hit residential areas, health centers, and educational centers, with no evidence that they were used by Iran for military purposes.

In addition, expressed growing concern over possible violations of international law, such as damage to health facilities , and called on both parties to respect principles such as proportionality and caution in their actions and to ensure access to humanitarian aid.

The Israeli offensive since early Friday morning has caused more than 100 deaths, according to Iranian media, a figure that has not been confirmed by the authorities.

Iran's Health Ministry has said that most of the dead and injured are civilians, especially women and children. , in attacks on residential areas, but has not offered specific data.

Authorities have confirmed the deaths of at least 15 senior Armed Forces officials, as well as nine nuclear scientists.
