Motocross in Córdoba: where the circuit is, schedules for Saturday and Sunday and ticket prices

Córdoba will be the stage for the opening round of the Motocross World Championship from Friday. Everything will take place on the brand new circuit located in the Infinito Race Track complex, 1,800 metres long.
This Wednesday the teams and drivers will begin their journey to our city, to start the activity on Friday.
It will all start with a foot survey for the participants so that they can draw their first conclusions.
This will be the 18th time that the category has visited Argentina since it was created in 1952. Infinito Race Track will host the competition this year and until 2027.
Córdoba will be the first of the 20 dates planned in a calendar that will cover 18 countries. The two main motocross categories will compete here, as well as one that will feature the best exponents of the Latin American circuit.
There will be 45 riders in the top division, the MXGP, and 36 in the MX2 division. In the elite division there are 13 Argentine riders. In the other, there are three.
There will be two debuting teams in MXGP: Aruba.It Ducati Factory, Handel Racing Husqvarna. The first one will be run by Paolo Ciabatti and will have the riders Jeremy Seewey, from Switzerland, and Mattia Guadagnini, from Italy. Meanwhile, Handel Husqvarna Racing will come to compete with Kevin Brumann from Switzerland.
Other teams will be:
- JW Honda Racing. With Cornelius Tondel, while Brent Van Doninck will not be there, having fractured the thigh of his right leg.
- Team Honda HRC. With five-time world champion Tim Gajser and Rubén Fernández.
- Honda MotoBlouz. With Kevin Horgmo and Alberto Forata.
- Kawasaki Racing Team. With Romaín Febvre and Paul Jonas.
- Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. Jeffrey Herling and Lucas Coemen.
- Team JP253 Racing Team. With Jan Pancan.
- Yamaha Factory MXG Team. With Jago Geerts, Calvin Vlaanderen and Máxime Renaux.
- JK Racing Yamaha. With Isak Gifting and Valentin Guillot.
- MRT Racing Team Beta. With Ben Watson and Tom Koch.
On Saturday 1st March, the activity will start at 9.15 with the start tests and then continue with the MX2 qualifying race at 15.25. Then, at 16.10, the MXGP qualifying race.
On Sunday there will be two heats or series for each category. MX2 will run at 12.15 and 15.10 over 30 minutes, plus two laps.
Meanwhile, MXGP will do so at 13:15 and 16:10 respectively, also over 30 minutes plus two laps.
Ticket pricesTickets can be purchased through Ticketek or Paseshow respectively. General pre-sale 90 thousand pesos. Minors, from four to 12, 45 thousand pesos.
General and Paddock: 140 thousand pesos. VIP adults: 900 thousand pesos; minors 400 thousand. VIP plus VIP parking: 950 thousand pesos.
Parking for cars and motorcycles: $15,000. Motorhome parking from 2/28 to 3/2: 200 thousand pesos.
