Neighbors subdue and hand over a thief in Saltillo

A man was arrested and beaten by residents of the Fundadores neighborhood after being caught stealing inside a home he thought was alone. However, an elderly woman was inside, sparking outrage among the neighbors, who, after subduing the suspect, handed him over to the authorities.

The incident occurred at a home in the Juan Navarro neighborhood, where a man identified as Luis Ángel, 23, entered with the intention of committing a robbery , believing the house was empty. To his surprise, an elderly woman was inside. Upon noticing the intruder, she locked herself in a room and managed to call one of her neighbors for help.

Upon learning of the situation, several residents quickly went to the scene, entered the house and found the subject , whom they subdued with the use of force, hitting him a few times before the police arrived.

Moments later, Municipal Police officers arrived at the scene, controlled the situation, and arrested Luis Ángel. He was taken to the municipal cells and placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
