Pure chologoth: Malcriada and Prayers release “Momento” a hit for you to put straight to your playlist

Riincón Punk.- The Mexican band Malcriada will release their first official collaboration with Prayers, the iconic cholo-goth from San Diego, and yes... this should be spectacular.
The song, titled “Momento,” feels like a direct shock to the chest, one of those songs that makes you feel (a lot), and that will also mark a new chapter in the group's history, electrifying their already intense career.
🌑 When the night calls, kindred spirits answer. In “Momento,” Malcriada finds her reflection in Prayers: a duel, a prayer, an anthem for broken hearts that still beat strong.

Malcriada will have her first official collaborationMalcriada, which recently appeared in El Deforma 's studio at Escritorito, is the project of Mathilde Sobrino and Pepe Pecas, who create emotional landscapes for those who don't fit in anywhere, an explosive blend of punk, darkwave, and witch house. Their work has gained notoriety thanks to a unique sound and lyrics that explore rebellion, disillusionment, and the eternal search for identity.
This collaboration represents much more than a song: it's a generational meeting of outsiders, a clash between two projects that have made dark aesthetics and heartbreak their hallmarks. Prayers, a key reference for Malcriada since its inception, brings her unmistakable stamp, elevating the track's intensity and turning it into one of the most devastating pieces of the year for the Latin darkwave scene.
The release of "MOMENTO" comes with several important dates: the ERROR 404 Tour, which will take Malcriada to 15 cities in Mexico and the United States, including performances with Prayers and The Buttertones. From Liver Pub in Tlaxcala to the Lunario at the National Auditorium in Mexico City on October 4th, passing through legendary venues like Glass House in Pomona and Black Box in Tijuana, the tour promises to overflow with emotions, sweat, and shared screams in an existential gothic synth-punk key.
And to keep up to date: the band Oasis mocked Coldplay for showing people off. This is a great time to see Malcriada again in El Deforma's Escritorito:eldeforma
