Security accused of allegedly pointing a gun at Celaya game; club denies it

After the video of the security element pointing a firearm at the fans during a game at the Celaya stadium, the club denied it.

It is worth remembering that on Saturday, April 26, the second leg of the Liga de Expansión MX playoffs was played between the Toros del Celaya and Tampico Madero at the Miguel Alemán Valdés Stadium .

The match ended 0-0 (the aggregate score was 0-1 in favor of Tampico), which meant the elimination of the Guanajuato club. A brawl broke out between the home fans and security personnel at the stadium, with players from both sides already in the locker room.

A section of the fans jumped onto the field and hit a security guard with benches and other objects.

A video circulated on social media showing a security guard apparently pointing a firearm at the fans to restrain them, which apparently sparked an even bigger brawl.

What happened last night in Celaya was extremely serious. A uniformed officer threatens fans with a gun and everything gets out of control. Someone asks him to put away the gun. But people want to lynch him and invade the field.
