Simas Torreón begins corrective work on Pump 74 in Campo Nuevo Zaragoza

The equipment suffered mechanical failures; it will affect three neighborhoods with low water pressure or a lack of water. The project is expected to be completed in 10 business days.

TORREÓN, COAH.- The Municipal Water and Sanitation System (Simas) Torreón reports that this morning corrective work began on pump 74, located on Campo de la Viña Avenue and Campo de Lilis Street, in the Campo Nuevo Zaragoza subdivision, due to mechanical failures in its operation.

Pump 74 supplies the Campo Nuevo Zaragoza, Monterreal , and Parajes del Bosque neighborhoods, which will experience low pressure and even lack water in some areas. For this reason, the utility will supply water using pipelines where necessary.

The repair work will be completed within approximately ten business days. The system thanks affected users for their understanding in this matter and notes that work is being done swiftly to return the equipment to the network as quickly as possible.
