Tattoo artist's ex stabs man she wanted to tattoo after mistaking him for her new boyfriend

A 27-year-old man was attacked with a knife while getting a tattoo in the province of Chubut, Argentina. The incident occurred on the night of Monday, August 4, when the tattoo artist's ex-boyfriend burst into the establishment, violently attacking him under the mistaken belief that he was her ex's new partner.
Sudden attack inside the studioAround 10:40 p.m. , the attacker unexpectedly entered the building where the artist was working. Without saying a word, he began hurling insults at the client and then physically assaulted him. He then took out a sharp object and stabbed the client several times in the left leg , while the tattoo artist tried to intervene and stop him.
The victim, who had no prior acquaintance with the woman, had only gone to get a tattoo. During the attack, the specialist was just beginning to prepare the sterile equipment needed to perform the procedure.
Robbery and escape from the aggressorAfter wounding the boy, the attacker fled and, in his escape, stole the young man's bicycle , which he used to get to the establishment.
The boy managed to reach a nearby house , from where he called for help. Residents quickly contacted the police , while paramedics treated him to stop the bleeding in his leg.
Preliminary investigationLocal police took the victim's statement and began investigating the incident. Initially, the incident was classified as an aggravated robbery , as a knife was used in the attack. It is still unknown whether the attacker has been captured .
The Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its investigation to clarify the circumstances of the attack and establish criminal liability.
