The UCO says a woman tried to steal a hard drive from Ábalos's house in Valencia.

The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard has informed the Supreme Court that on the day it searched the home of former minister José Luis Ábalos in Valencia, a woman who was with him attempted to leave the house with a "blue external hard drive" hidden in her pants, under the pretext of taking her dog for a walk.
This is stated in the entry and search report that the agents have handed over to Judge Leopoldo Puente, who is in charge of the investigation against Ábalos and his former advisor Koldo García for the collection of alleged commissions—in cash and in kind—in exchange for rigging public works contracts.
According to the Civil Guard , during the search on June 10, the former minister expressed the need for the woman accompanying him to take out the dog, which was also in the house. At that moment, an officer observed Ábalos instructing her to take "some breakfast, then proceeded to go inside one of the rooms of the house." Before leaving the house, the Civil Guard officer noticed that the woman was carrying "something hidden in her pants."
The report states that it was a "blue external hard drive, brand WD-MY PASSPORT," which was "found hidden in the woman's pants." The officers placed the device in a sealed evidence bag.
This is one of the various pieces of evidence seized that day , including Ábalos's black iPhone 11, a gray iPhone S, four black external hard drives, and 20 USB flash drives he had in his office. Another Samsung phone was found in the hall; another USB flash drive was found in the living room; and another external hard drive was found in the master bedroom.
