During her participation this Monday in the 14th anniversary of the Council to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination ( Copred ) CDMX, Clara Brugada He reiterated that there will be no room for intolerance in his government.
It is worth remembering that alleged CDMX government officials were found responsible for brutally attacking Donaji , a trans woman, in the Alameda Central.
In the framework of the 14th anniversary of Copred CDMX, Clara Brugada stated that during her government there will be no room for intolerance .
The head of government stressed that in Mexico City, respect for other people must be guaranteed, so those who wish to be public officials should not engage in acts of discrimination .
“No person who intends to work in the CDMX government can have transphobic and discriminatory positions,” said Clara Brugada.
Clara Brugada insisted that in Mexico, as well as in CDMX, intolerance should not be allowed to advance in society, nor should hatred and denial towards other people.
The head of government insisted that the country's capital must be an example of progress and strict respect for others.
“In Mexico and in CDMX, we cannot allow intolerance and the denial of others to advance even one millimeter. We start from the unwavering conviction of defending the dignity of all.”

Likewise, and after pointing out that CDMX officials should not engage in acts of intolerance, Clara Brugada promised that there will be no impunity for those responsible for the brutal attack on Donaji.
This comes after two officials have so far been arrested by CDMX authorities.
Clara Brugada explained that those arrested and accused of the brutal attack on Donaji have already been brought before the courts , and she asked them to act decisively and provide justice for Donaji.
They are expected to be charged with various crimes by the CDMX Prosecutor's Office, since they also exceeded their functions.
“Those responsible for yesterday's act have been identified and brought to justice, and I call on the relevant authorities to take decisive measures and bring justice to Donaji.”
