Tragedy on Route 3: Head-on collision between a bus and a truck left at least four dead

A Condor Estrella bus collided head-on this morning with a truck on National Route 3 , at kilometer 132, in San Miguel del Monte , resulting in at least four fatalities and multiple injuries.

So far, four deaths have been reported and 16 injured. They were taken to the Zenón Videla Dorna Hospital in San Miguel del Monte, located 25 kilometers from the scene of the tragic road accident.

Of the total number of injured, six were referred with a red code, meaning their conditions are serious.

Francisco Gutiérrez, head of the San Miguel del Monte Fire Department, emphasized that at the time of the fatal accident , " there was a lot of fog" and that in that area " there are many accidents . "

Firefighters and rescue personnel were working at the scene, and the operation is expected to delay the route for more than two hours.

Initial reports indicate that the bus was heading toward Buenos Aires and collided head-on with the truck traveling in the opposite direction.
