Trump transforms the White House to his liking and removes the lawn from the garden

The real estate expert in Donald Trump, with more than questionable tastes according to architectural analysts, has set to work converting the White House into a remake of his Mar-a-Lago mansion, very much to his liking and that of his wife, First Lady Melania.

Thus, the iconic Rose Garden, next to the West Wing and Jackie Kennedy's legacy, the setting for official speeches and ceremonies, has lost its lawn, replaced by a paved surface and lots of plastic.

In addition to the glitter with which he has decorated the Oval Office, the ultimate representation of power, and the installation of a new flagpole in front of the White House building, Trump is preparing for another major transformation, this time in the East Wing. The American president has already unveiled one of his most coveted projects, which consists of the addition of a grand ballroom for state functions. His project, in times of budget cuts, represents an investment of $200 million.

It consists of a complex of more than 8,000 square meters. This represents the largest transformation to be undertaken in the historic building in many decades.
