Amal Clooney Shines in a Romantic Pearl-Beaded Gown at the 2025 Tony Awards
Amal Clooney was dripping in pearls at last night’s Tony Awards. The human rights lawyer was there to accompany her husband, George Clooney, who was nominated for Best Leading Actor in a Play for his role in Good Night, and Good Luck.
The couple walked the red carpet at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall and posed for photos. Amal wore an elegant strapless pearl-beaded white satin Tamara Ralph Haute Couture gown, and accessorized with a pearl clutch and white Roger Vivier pumps. George kept it classic in a black tuxedo.
George notably showed off his natural gray hair color after dyeing it jet black for the role. In a recent interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, he mentioned that Amal isn’t the biggest fan of the darker look. “My wife thinks it’s funny,” he said, and his children “laugh at it.”
He also spoke candidly about his marriage. “Amal and I are having a really great time in life,” he told King. “Our kids are seven, about to be eight, which is a pretty great age. They’re really curious and funny. Every parent thinks their kids are great, but our kids are funny and they make us laugh. I remember when [Amal and I] were here with you once before, and I remember we said we’d never had an argument. We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about.”
He continued, “I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman, and I feel as if I hit the jackpot. And there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world. It’s great.”
