Teaches how to face problems
At the 36th National Book Fair (FENAL) , Norma Revilla presented her novel "La amiga de las tormentas," which contains messages of personal growth. She shares with readers that problems are a part of life and that one must have the courage to face them.
The novel that Norma wrote with Antonio Hernández , exposes through philosophical concepts , for example the first thing a woman should do is work on herself.
The book includes a QR code of the song "La amiga de las tormentas" that he wrote himself, so that readers can listen to Erick Hernández , who sang and set it to music .
“You have no control over storms , but you do have control over how you decide to navigate them,” shared Norma Revilla .
In the publication Norma projects many of the reflections that she makes at 67 years old and promotes spaces in the city such as the Historic Center , the International Balloon Festival , etc.
The protagonists are Claudia and Alejandro , each has their own story, but the marriage is built on sand, so the novel begins with their divorce.
From then on, each one experiences such strong storms that they discover separately, until she, due to her codependency , has the worst night of her life. A traumatic event is narrated in the publication.

Claudia lives in León, Guanajuato , and was rescued by a friend, who took her to San Miguel de Allende . The importance of having a support network, like good friends , is emphasized.
Through a therapist who treats the protagonist , who proposes taking a dive into the interior to know your shadows , the lights, even the monsters and then the storms give you the opportunity for self-knowledge .
“Through self-knowledge you discover the areas you need to work on, such as self-love , knowing how to set limits, or maybe you have some unhealed wounds from your adolescence . You discover breathing and meditation techniques. It puts you in contact with nature and gives you tools to learn how to manage your emotional well-being and anxiety attacks .”
When the protagonist is more recovered, she focuses on the meaning of life, called ikigai (reason for being) , discovering what motivates you, and it has to do with talents . She discovers that she loves animals and sets up a shelter for strays .
Then we work on Claudia 's codependency, because that's where beliefs, judgments and everything they were taught in childhood come in and perhaps it's the origin of many storms .
Finally he said that the song is on all platforms and the book is available at the Instituto Hispano Inglés .
