The cold continues in Mendoza and this will be the maximum: expectation for an improvement in the mountains

After a rainy, cloudy, and cold weekend, the weather forecast predicts some improvements in the metropolitan area, as well as in the high mountains. The Cristo Redentor Pass was closed on Sunday due to snowfall.
"Partly cloudy with rising temperatures, light northeasterly winds. Improving in the mountains ," states the report issued by the Directorate of Agriculture and Climate Contingencies for today. After a low of 2°C, the high will be around 11°C.
As for Tuesday , the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and rising temperatures, with a low of 3°C and a high of 15°C. Moderate winds will be expected in the east in the afternoon, averaging 35 km/h, decreasing toward the evening but continuing into early Wednesday morning.
As a preview for Wednesday , a light Zonda wind is expected from the morning in the southern mountain range, extending to Malargüe and the Uspallata Valley from midday. Snowfall is expected again in the mountains.
On the plains, the minimum temperature will be 4°C, while the maximum will reach 16°C.
