In an interview with Aconcagua Radio , Claudia Zuquetti recounted how she went into labor on July 20th . Without support at home, a friend took her to the hospital and witnessed the birth. She shared the experience in a radio raffle, becoming a moving symbol of Friendship Day.
Chatting on the program Haciendo Cumbre , Claudia recounted how, while celebrating her son's birthday on July 20th, she went into labor and had to be taken to the hospital thanks to the help of a friend who accompanied her until the birth of her second child . The emotional experience left a lasting impression on everyone present and highlighted the importance of true friendship.
“We always celebrate Friendship Day and my son's birthday together. It's a special time for family and friends to gather. But that morning, after the party, I started having contractions,” Claudia said. Her husband and friends were outside making a bonfire, unsure how to help her. In an emergency, Claudia called a friend who was elsewhere for help.
“She dropped everything and came with me to the hospital, pretending to be my sister and being present at the birth,” she recalled emotionally. This friend, who couldn't have children, shared a unique and unforgettable experience with Claudia, which further strengthened their bond.
Today, Claudia always remembers this unusual event with her family and remains in touch with her inseparable friend. Her two children celebrate consecutive birthdays on July 20th and 21st, and every year they reminisce about this story that united their lives forever.
On Aconcagua Radio, after sharing her anecdote, Claudia was awarded a rack of ribs in the raffle, to celebrate with her more than 60 family members and friends, a special way to close an inspiring and moving story.
