This Wednesday there will be a total 9-hour closure on Provincial Route 60 and Terrada de Luján de Cuyo.

The work will be carried out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the closure will affect the section between the East Side of the South Access and Vieytes Street.

This Wednesday, May 21, the Mendoza Highway Department will carry out a complete traffic closure at the intersection of Provincial Route 60 (Calle Araoz) and Terrada Street, in the department of Luján de Cuyo , due to the ongoing construction work for a new roundabout.

The closure will last nine hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will affect the section between the East Side of the South Access and Vieytes Street.

The new roundabout at RP 60 and Terrada is nearing completion, with the new interchange already built, road markings along the entire area of influence, and pedestrian crossings painted.

However, the need for the new outage is due to the relocation of power supply columns , a task whose maneuvers will require a large part of the day, as has occurred on other occasions, since this task of conditioning the electrical service has been carried out in different stages.

For this reason, the Provincial Highway Department suggests drivers choose other routes and, if traveling through this area, take the detours from the East Side of the South Access or from Vieytes Street to Bulnes or Zapiola Streets.
