Caja Popular Mexicana will unify its services in a single mobile application.

Caja Popular Mexicana (CPM) announced the integration of its current mobile applications into a single platform: CPM Móvil Plus. This initiative seeks to consolidate all the digital services the cooperative provides to its more than 3 million members, strengthening its commitment to continuous improvement.
The new version of CPM Mobile Plus incorporates all the previous features of the apps and adds tools that allow members to conduct complete banking operations from their smartphone or online portal. Through this platform, users will be able to manage payments, deposits, transfers, credit applications, investments, and card management, all from a streamlined, modern, and easy-to-use digital environment.
Previously, CPM Móvil allowed for basic operations such as SPEI transfers, transactions between accounts, and balance inquiries. Meanwhile, CPM Móvil Plus offered more advanced features, such as loan applications and investment management. With the merger, the cooperative offers its members a comprehensive tool that centralizes all these services in one place.
Caja Popular Mexicana also reported that this technological evolution was developed in collaboration with Veritran , an international firm specializing in digital solutions for the financial sector.
Among the new features that the new app will include, the cooperative highlighted comprehensive credit and debit card management with dynamic security codes, an ATM and branch locator, the option to hide balances for privacy, and transfers between members. The platform will soon add tools such as utility payments, credit and pre-authorized cards, biometric validation, scheduled transfers, and personalized recommendations.
They reduce the digital divideSince the start of its digital services on July 1, 2019, and through March 31, 2025, Caja Popular Mexicana has registered 1,092,858 digital transactions, representing 30.13% of its current membership base of 3,627,116. Of that total, 1,051,364 members actively use mobile applications, completing more than 21 million transactions during that period.
"The use of the cooperative's digital applications has been an incentive for members, who see the ease of using these tools and visiting branches only when absolutely necessary," Caja Popular Mexicana said in a statement.
