Entrepreneurs helping to implement Plan Mexico 2.0

As proposed by Plan Mexico , the Economic Development and Relocation Advisory Council has been formed to promote private investment.

The council's goal is to consolidate the industrial development and sustainability strategy to align it with regional and global needs and secure private investment.

It operates through the development of proposals, data analysis, and coordination with the public administration, developed through quarterly meetings led by Coordinator Altagracia Gómez Sierra.

Gómez Sierra explained that they operate under lines of action that include strengthening local supply chains, training small and medium-sized businesses, providing access to credit, and promoting sustainable practices.

The Council is composed of business leaders, representatives of chambers and associations, government representatives, and academics.

Representatives from the economic cabinet will also participate, including the Ministry of Economy; the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit; the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation; the Ministry of Energy; the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources; the Ministry of Health; and the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency.

As well as academics and representatives from chambers and associations such as the Business Coordinating Council, the American Chamber of Mexico, the Council of Global Businesses, and the Mexican Banking Association (ABM).

Altagracia Gómez

Coordinator of the Mexican government's Business Advisory Council. She directs the Western Business Promotion Agency, which covers the food, automotive, real estate development, and warehouse sectors. It includes firms such as Dina, Siembra Capitales, Almer, and AP Solutions.

Gina Diez Barroso

Founder of Dalia Empower, a platform specializing in life skills and focused on women. Diarq Holding Group, under her leadership, has developed more than 650 residential and hotel projects. Founder of Diez Company, a leading brand in residential, hotel, and corporate lighting.

Blanca Treviño de la Vega

CEO and founder of the leading information technology services company Softtek. She is the first woman inducted into the Mexican Business Council and the first Mexican entrepreneur into the Women in Technology Hall of Fame. She is originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León.

José Chapur Zahoul

CEO and general manager of The Palace Company, a luxury hotel chain. He previously founded the Galerías chain of stores and was a partner in the second supermarket chain in the history of Yucatán, called Super Maz. He became one of the first shopping mall developers.

Myriam Guadalupe de la Vega

Director of Almacenes Distribuidores de la Frontera, a commercial company that operates convenience stores, small-format supermarkets, and gas stations in the north of the country. She is also Vice President of Maximus Real Estate, a real estate and development company part of Grupo de la Vega.

María Elena Gallego Lechuga

President and CEO of Collectron International Management Inc., a company dedicated to serving maquiladora firms seeking to expand to Mexico. She develops business plans, selects and trains employees, manages paperwork, and secures industrial warehouses.

Concepción Miranda

General Manager of Miraplastek, a producer of components for the tractor industry, she has achieved prominence in the manufacturing of parts for heavy machinery. Originally from Aguascalientes, she has established herself as one of the leaders in the international plastics industry.

Tamara Caballero

General Director of Banco Multiva. Part of the Ángeles Business Group. She has led the financing of more than 500 infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors, including mobility, healthcare, education, water, and energy, among others.

Ana María Macías

CEO of Maja Consulting Group, a company that offers engineering, construction, and functional safety services. She is an expert in energy and hydrocarbon risk mitigation. She participated in the design of 50 storage and distribution terminals for gas and gasoline compression stations.

Eduardo Tricio Haro

Chairman of the Board of the Nuplen Industrial Group, a company that designs, manufactures, and distributes animal nutrition, care, and health products; associated with Grupo Lala. Chairman of the SER school network, which serves more than 3,000 students from marginalized communities in Mexico.

Armando Garza Sada

He was president of Grupo Alfa for at least 15 years. Alfa operates in 23 countries and is active in the food, petrochemical, automotive, and telecommunications sectors. He remains a member of the Board of Directors. He is also the former president of the Transformation Industry in Nuevo León (Caintra).

Rodrigo Herrera Aspra

Founder of Genomma Lab, a company that develops, sells, and markets pharmaceutical and personal care products. He participated for years on the television show Shark Tank, where he made clear his interest in the environment and food products, prioritizing healthy ones.

Antonio del Valle Perchorena

President of the Mexican Business Council and Grupo Kaluz, a conglomerate of Mexican companies specializing in financial services, construction materials, and petrochemicals, comprising Mexichem, the Ve por Más (Bx+) bank, and Elementia cement, as well as medical trusts.

Raúl Gutiérrez Muguerza

CEO of the DEACERO Group, a steel company and manufacturer of multiple products with a presence in more than 50 countries. The group has implemented advanced practices to reduce emissions, save water, and promote the circular economy and the use of renewable energy sources.

Juan Domingo Beckmann

CEO of the José Cuervo tequila company, a Mexican company with operations spanning over 200 years and family ownership for several generations. He has served on the board of directors of Banamex, a financial group, and the Mexican Foreign Trade Council (COMCE), among others.
