How much the dollar would go to in Argentina according to more than 50 banks
A report that compiles forecasts from banks and consulting firms predicts an increase in the official dollar by the end of the year.
Argentina 's exchange rate projection for the end of 2025 has been revised upwards according to a survey of more than 50 banks and consulting firms. The LatinFocus Consensus Forecast report indicates that the official wholesale dollar is expected to close the year at around $1,338 , a higher value than estimated a month ago.
This increase is linked to adjustments the government could make to the exchange rate band to balance the economy and the external market, which is also affected by global variables such as international oil and soybean prices.

The projected value of $1,338 for the official dollar is close to the estimated ceiling of the exchange rate band, which would be $1,528 by year-end, with a minimum floor of $915, based on monthly updates of 1%.
The parallel dollar, or blue dollar, is expected to close 2025 at around $1,379 . For 2026, estimates are even higher, with values of $1,568 for the official dollar and $1,592 for the blue dollar.
The survey also revised downwards inflation forecasts, which are estimated to be around 28.6% by the end of 2025 and fall to 17.9% in 2026 .

The slowdown in inflation in the first months of the year was key to this revision.
Furthermore, the report projects Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of 5% for 2025 and 3.4% for the following year, reflecting a partial recovery of the Argentine economy in a complex scenario.
