MEXICO CITY.— This Tuesday, the US currency started the day with gains, being offered in international markets at 19.7522 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .

At the start of trading today in the foreign exchange market , the dollar rose 0.34%, or 0.0664 units.

The dollar closed Monday at 19.685 pesos per dollar and opened today at 19.69 pesos per dollar, representing an annual variation of 16.24%.

This Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 20.8768 pesos per dollar .

According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 20.8768 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 19.247 pesos at Intercam bank counters.

Below is the list of retail prices, for purchase and sale, at bank branches:

At the time of purchase, the lowest price is 18.50 pesos per dollar offered by Banorte Bank, and the highest is 19.247 pesos per dollar offered by Intercam Bank.

For sale, the lowest price is 19.97 pesos per dollar offered at BBVA Bank branches and the highest is 20.8768 pesos per dollar offered by Bank of America.— (With information from: eldolar.info ).

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization reached $2.91 trillion this morning, a 0.88% decrease compared to the previous day of trading.

For its part, the Bank of Mexico announced the exchange rate for debt payments denominated in US dollars, payable in Mexico, which it set at 19.6365 pesos per dollar.

Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 19.6694.

According to The Economy Forecast Agency, yesterday, the dollar's exchange rate registered a variation of 0.32% compared to the previous day.

For Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 19.487 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 20.081 pesos per dollar.
