This was confirmed to EL TIEMPO by the Minister of Labor, Antonio Sanguino, at the Local Development Forum held by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Barranquilla.
Sanguino also explained that the nighttime surcharges, which with the approval of the law will begin at 7 p.m. instead of the current 9 p.m., will begin to materialize in six months.

It should be noted that in one year, the gradual increase in Sundays and holidays will rise to 90%, and in 2027 to 100%.
In an interview with EL TIEMPO, Minister Sanguino reported that on July 20, the government will present a bill providing comprehensive incentives and relief for micro and small businesses.
"We are working with the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance to file the bill so that companies can access more incentives. The idea is for it to be a separate process from the tax reform and for it to convey a sense of urgency so it can be implemented next year," the Ministry of Labor announced.
