This increase was driven primarily by rising prices for goods, energy, and agricultural products. In contrast, the services sector showed a slight slowdown. Most worrying, however, was core inflation, which accelerated to 4.06%, its highest level in eleven years.

Internationally, some attention turned to the United States, where new protests were reported in Los Angeles, California, outside the offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
