Vista production increased 36% during 2024

Oil company Vista, whose operations focus on the unconventional hydrocarbon formation of Vaca Muerta, Argentina, recorded a net profit of 477.5 million dollars last year, 20.2% more than in 2023.
According to the company's earnings release published on Wednesday, Vista's net profit rose to $93.77 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to a profit of $132.9 million in the same period of 2023.
The company reported operating profit of $625.4 million in 2024, compared to earnings of $631.5 million in 2023, while operating profit in the fourth quarter was $129.4 million, compared to earnings of $176.5 million in the same period of 2023.
Adjusted EBITDA last year was $1,092.4 million, up 25% compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, the company's net income totaled $1,588.3 million in 2024, up 42% from 2023.
The company said its total hydrocarbon production last year was 69,660 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), a year-on-year increase of 36%.
Vista, whose oil production last year amounted to 60,418 bbl/d and has consolidated its position as Argentina's second largest unconventional oil operator, put 50 wells into production in Vaca Muerta last year.
