Dajabón celebrates Caramelo's triumph at The House of Famous

The border province of Dajabón is celebrating after learning of the triumph of Carlos Antonio Cruz , known as " Caramelo " on the popular reality show La Casa de los Famosos All Stars.

The charismatic contestant, a native of this northwestern region of the country, was crowned the season's big winner , generating a wave of joy and pride among his fellow citizens.

Since the evening, dozens of people gathered in parks, grocery stores, and homes to watch the final broadcast of the show, and the announcement of her victory was greeted with applause, tears of emotion, and impromptu fireworks.

" Caramelo has elevated Dajabón . We feel represented by his authenticity , humility , and joy," said María Torres, a resident of the main municipality, while waving a Dominican flag.

During his appearance, Caramelo, who lives in New York, captivated the audience with his positive energy , respectful manner , and ability to connect with people from different walks of life. His time on the Telemundo Internacional program not only cemented him as a beloved figure across the country, but also sparked renewed interest in his hometown.
