From Joan Didion's diary to the misadventures of Elon Musk

On April 22, Notes to John , a diary by Joan Didion, went on sale in the US. Shortly after her death in 2021, her literary administrators found the diary among papers in her New York apartment. There were 46 entries addressed to her husband, John Gregory Dunne. In 1999, Didion began keeping a diary after sessions with her psychiatrist. For a year, she recorded their conversations. She discussed her struggles with anxiety, guilt, and depression, her relationship with her daughter, and her work and legacy. We're waiting for it.

The space is a cultural center, a space for reflection, a music venue, and a corner for poets, promising to become a fundamental stop on the long cultural journey that leads to Lobos. Surrounding the books is Cecilia Perkins, the botanical decorator of this open-air, open-fire multi-space.
